Back in May, I had the privilege of photographing the wedding of our good friends, Josh and Shannon. Josh and my husband have been friends since high school, and Josh and Shannon started dating shortly after we did. We have a great time hanging out on double dates, which usually consist of a low key time enjoying good food (especially pulled pork nachos), beer, and catching up in the living room.
Their wedding was on the most perfect, no humidity, sunny day that you could ask for. It took place at Longstraw Farms, a gorgeous homestead with huge trees, large yard, and the most creative owner, Sandy Anderson. She set up a gorgeous wedding and I’m totally inspired by her farmhouse decorations for my own home.
My husband was the Best Man in the wedding, so it was extra special to me to be the one photographing it. It was also nice being able to meet other family members of Josh and Shannon. They are a beautiful couple on any day, but especially their wedding day. Their “first look” brought tears to my eyes (challenging when you’re snapping pics). I’m so excited to share photos from their big day!
