Hi All! My little boy is three! I can’t even believe it. It’s incredible how much he has changed, yet still has many traits that have been there since birth! Riker had a lot of energy even in the womb, and it’s the same now. To comfort him as an infant, we had to walk him around holding him upright. Best way to calm him down now? Same thing! We carry him around on our hip and talk to him! Man is he heavy now!
Riker has been such a wonderful blessing in our lives and I’m so proud to be his mommy! Life has certainly been full of adventures since his arrival and I can’t wait to see what else is in store for us in the future. Being a parent truly makes me feel complete.
We celebrated with a family pizza party and a party with his friends at Simply Natural Creamery & Jersey Farm. Both turned out perfect and Riker was a happy birthday boy! Here is a poster I made in picmonkey and had printed on posterboard for the party.
We were blessed to celebrate with Riker’s grandparents, aunts and uncles, and several great grandparents. What kid doesn’t love a pizza party? It was festive, laid back, and fun!
Over at the farm, we all got to take a hayride and tour the land, and the kids got to bottle feed the calfs. They loved it! We also got to see the adult cows, the milking room, and then they had a chance to try their hand a milking a cow the old-fashioned way with a little elbow grease!
To top it all off, Sally the Cow came to sing Happy Birthday! After cake and ice-cream the kiddos got to run around and play on the little playground. Riker had a blast!
Happy Birthday to my sweet boy!!
