Need an energy boost? Try a green smoothie instead of that caffeine! I guarantee it will work better.
Green smoothies can aid digestion, reduce sugar cravings, and help clear up your skin. They also give you an antioxidant boost and a dose of vegetables. Now who couldn’t use that? So, are you convinced? Enter the Kale, Banana, & PB2 Smoothie!
I’ve loved green smoothies from the first time I tried one. The banana always overpowers any strong or bitter taste and in this recipe the PB2 gives it a yummy peanut butter flavor for barely any calories.
Oh, and a photography tip if you’re into that – spoon your smoothie into the glass instead of pouring it. There won’t be any bubbles on top!
Have you ever tried PB2? It’s basically powdered peanut butter that you can toss into smoothies or combine with water to form a paste like peanut butter. You can find it at health food stores. I purchased mine at GNC.
My son also loves this smoothie and he is one of the pickiest toddlers ever! It’s a fantastic way to get those fruits and veggies into your non-veggie eaters!
Hope you enjoy my Kale, Banana, & PB2 Smoothie! Let me know if you try it!
