Happy Thursday! I hope your day is going smoothly! Today is my Friday as we’re off to Busch Gardens tomorrow!
Lately we have been working on cleaning up our yard, specifically cleaning out the beds, and you may recall from our first adventure that we dug up some pretty random stuff. We found old yard ornaments, lots of glass, yard tools, and cd cases. Well check out what my husband dug up the other day.
Horrifying! I’m so glad I did not find that! This past Sunday we dug up even more stuff, including an Outkast cd! So, we know no one has worked on this yard since at least the late 90s!
Now onto the real subject of this post. It’s all about recipes here on the blog this week apparently! I have another fall-inspired recipe for you to try out this season – Fall Snack Mix!
My toddler is a little picky about food these days (really hoping this will pass soon and please comment if you have any advice) but there’s nothing in this mix he wants to pick out! It’s sweet, salty, bite-size goodness! This would be great for goody bags at daycare or school, or for your Halloween party. It’s also really pretty and looks very fall and cutesy, while only taking about 5 minutes to throw together. Hope you enjoy!
- 2 cups autumn candy corn
- 2 cups Golden Grahams
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- ½ cup Reese's Pieces
- 2 cups of pretzels
- 1½ cups popcorn
- Add all ingredients to a large bowl and toss to combine! Or, it you want to have a pretty presentation, layer the biggest ingredients on the bottom and smallest on the top.
